MADRA @shuzzy1 @funkwavegemini Hey Maggie- you look like you are living a happy dog’s life.❤️🐶

* URGENT FOSTER APPEAL * People, we really need your help. We need it ASAP. We are desperately on the search for a very specific long-term foster home for our boy Oliver. Oliver absolutely cannot cope in a kennel environment. He spins repeatedly and his obvious distress is very upsetting to witness. We have him in the quietest space we have, with lots of outdoor time but he simply can't stay here. He is so painfully unhappy. He is a different dog however when brought on walks away from our shelter and enjoys lapping up attention from our volunteers. So, we urgently need to get Oliver out of our shelter in the next day or two, so please share this post. We really need your help on this one. It was with the heaviest heart, that Oliver was returned to us three months post adoption. Prior to this, Oliver had spent a long time with us without any home offers, each day becoming more frantic and traumatised by kennel life and the noise which comes with it. We are so grateful to the amazing woman who gave him a chance. He settled in really well with her and they adored each other. Sadly, life circumstances changed drastically and as a result, it was increasingly difficult to give Oliver what he needed. Hard as it was, it was the right decision to make to give Oliver back. It's no exaggeration to say that Oliver absolutely captures the hearts of everyone who meets him. He has a sad, soft gaze and oh-so gentle, affectionate ways. He loves his walks and he will happily nuzzle into you for a fuss and listen to all your secrets. Oliver comes with some triggers, which any potential fosterer or adopter will need to be understanding of. We will give advice on how to control and manage these triggers. Triggers include: lighting a fire (lighters, matches etc.,) Spraying things (household cleaners, deodorants, aerosols,) Sweeping, vacuuming, Intense energy electical goods like hairdryers and Loud machinery. He was able to cope with the sounds of a washing machine, TV and kettle in his previous home. He was happiest being outside, while coming indoors when he wanted. What Oliver needs: • A mostly outdoor, rural lifestyle, with access to indoors and human interaction. • Someone who will be dedicated to help manage his triggers. • A simple and quiet life in an adult only home. He does enjoy meeting childrens and teens here, but we feel living with them may be too overwhelming. • He likes other dogs too so he would make an ideal second dog. If you think you can provide Oliver with what he needs, please don't delay in filling out a Foster or Adoption Questionnaire...Oliver really needs another hero. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill in an adoption questionnaire and a member of the rehoming team will be in contact. Once we've had a chat an appointment can be made to meet the dog. * Thanks to PurpleBlues Pets Photography for Oliver’s handsome red bandana photo. Thanks to Esme of https://www.exploretheatlashq.com/photoshoot https://www.instagram.com/exploretheatlas/ for the rest of the beautiful photos of Oliver.
