* Update from Fosterers - Our pretty little terrier girl Casey has been in foster the last few weeks. Initially she was so scared, she hid under the sofa. Now she has come out of her shell and her foster mum can't believe the progress she has made in such a short space of time. Her foster parents will be going away soon and we would really hate to bring Casey back to the kennels so we would love to find her a human of her own ASAP. Casey is a lovely dog, she’s very obedient, she can now walk without the leash, and she loves, loves, loves eating so foodies of Ireland, where are you at?!?!?!? Casey is terrified of darkness and shadows so she gets a bit nervous and barks sometimes. At the beginning she was very shy and terrified though, so she barely barked. When she gets scared, she will hide her head away in a pillow.(pictured.) Casey has made it clear she does NOT like cats! At night, she sleeps in her foster parents bed as otherwise she will cry so she will need help from a trainer to overcome this. Casey is VERY friendly, bundles of fun....and simply full of love and cuddles. When her foster mum is at home with her, she barely realises Casey is there because she’s very quiet. She loves running and playing with the ball so champion ball throwers only need apply for this little monkey! **** Luna is always ready to soak up belly rubs and snuggles from our volunteers! This pretty wag-tastic girl is a petite terrier collie mix who enjoys playing with other dogs and loves to cuddle. She is around two years old. This little gem has a bubbly personality and wants to be everyone's pal! Luna is a super little dog who would most likely suit as a second dog who could build up her confidence a bit. She gets anxious after dark, particularly with sounds and lights, so urban living will not suit her and she likes to sleep in a cosy dark place (under a blanket or under the bed). She has lived with older children in the past. We are looking for a rural home with someone home during the day and a secure garden. She can escape from anywhere if she really wants to (she climbs like a monkey, trust us!) but only when she gets lonely. This graceful gal is a total sweetheart who will rest her head on her person's lap for love and affection. She will need to be an indoor dog where she can snuggle up next to you on the couch.
