MADRA Happy Update Pup Athena (now Mouse) came to us with her siblings in 2017 in an appalling state of neglect. The on… https://t.co/gnW2sF3MKw
* Direct from Home Adoption * If you associate Hugo with the suffix Boss, we can't blame you - our lovely Hugo is just that, a #1 man. He has all the mischief and happiness of a beagle, and all the intelligence and warmth of a staffie. Is this a winning combination? We think so! Hugo loves his family, and will do anything to protect them, which is a sweet sentiment, but he needs a family that will show him that guests are welcome, and to establish some behavioural boundaries. You don't have to take it from us, though - his current family can attest to his character and here is what they have to say about him! "Hugo is a 7 year old Beagle X Staffie. He's great in the house and loves to be cuddled up on your lap watching tv. He loves a bit of David Attenborough especially the bird ones :D He is not interested in toys but loves playing with Nala [his sister]. He's also very clean in the house and has never chewed anything. He's a smart dog and knows lots of tricks, he's an expert beggar and could spend all of dinner time on his back legs :) Although he's very happy in the house he also loves to be out and about, he'll happily jump into his crate in the car but is even happier when he's allowed in the front seat. Being part beagle means that sometimes he can't resist a scent so he needs to be reminded to stay near you when out and about. He has arthritis, but at the moment he's only on medication when needed and it's recommended that he doesn't do too much road walking. He's also happy living with our cat but himself and Nala share a great bond. He'd love to be cuddled up in bed with her all the time but she likes her own space which he respects. He really is the dream dog."
