Meet the MADRA team at the MADRA shop in Moycullen on Thursday, December 15th, from 1-5pm.
The MADRA kennel team and volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate to shop customers how the money raised from their generous donations and purchases goes towards helping MADRA to continue to rescue abandoned and unwanted dogs throughout the county. There may also be some MADRA dogs in attendance hoping to meet a potential new owner or receive a Christmas treat!
The Moycullen MADRA day will provide an opportunity for people interested in adopting to receive more information on the adoption process and the dogs that are currently looking for their forever home. It will also be used as a means of meeting anyone who is interested in participating in the Christmas fostering scheme which is being coordinated by MADRA in an attempt to address the current over-crowding at the kennels due to the increase in unwanted dogs and a slow-down in re-homing rates. Those interested in volunteering at the kennels, in the shop, and for fundraising activities should also attend to discover how they can get involved and help MADRA continue its work with dogs.
To mark their first anniversary, the MADRA shop is selling all stock at the bargain price of two euros on the day. Patrons can pick up a bargain, receive free dog training and dog care advice, meet a new canine friend or simply enjoy some festive treats while learning more about MADRA Dog Rescue and Adoption.
The MADRA Shop is located on Main Street, Moycullen. For more information call 086 8149026.
