Unable to take in dogs from individuals until January 2012

Due to the overwhelming amount of dogs that arrive at our door, and the slow rate of rehoming at this time of year, MADRA will be unable to take in any more dogs from individuals until January 2012.

Unfortunately, we just do not have the kennel space and we always do our best to prioritise the dogs that are in local authority dog pounds. The wardens will still be bringing in stray & unwanted dogs until Christmas eve and should we have any free kennels then, they will be reserved for these dogs.

This year, for the first year, we will try to help anyone who needs to rehome their pet by putting them up on our website for the month of December ONLY.

We will also be more than happy to give advice on rehoming and even do a home check for you if possible, assuming its not too far away. Should you rehome your dog through our website, we would ask that the donation go directly to our own dogs that are still in rescue awaiting their new homes.
