MADRA We so appreciate all the donated #gifts by supporters to our rescue dogs from https://t.co/5GLoRiK05S, You are all… https://t.co/06Eg98XvIJ
Yo. I was a bit wary when I first came to this place but the humans here say I have really emerged from my shell. I wasn’t sure about this place or the people either. I was very skinny but the humans here have been giving me extra meals so I’m pleased about that. I am sensitive about having my neck touch, for reasons I can’t remember so I’ll need someone who will be understanding about that. I am typical of my breed in lots of ways; I don’t warm up to people very quickly but once I do, I promise you will see that I actually have a great sense of playfulness about me. I will give you my special nose kisses if I think you are particualy awesome! I am a husky so of course I will need lots and lots of exercise but once I get my walks, I arrive back to my kennel and tuck myself up in my bed with my paws tucked under me like a cat!
Oh and speaking of cats.....One thing you should know about me is that I’m not a fan of smaller furries as I think it would be great craic to chase them. The humans don’t agree with me on that....hmmmm, I don’t understand them at times.  I also have glorious dreams of chasing the sheep who taunt me on my walks at the kennels so it’s best if I don’t live on a farm with lots of temptation around. Oh and if you want me in your life, I just hope your garden is 100% husky proof because hey, let’s face it....us huskies are notorious for escaping because our heads are just filled with thoughts of having mystical adventures all over the world. I’ve been told it’s not all that easy and that if I want to travel anywhere I will need to be accompanied by you humans and have a passport and all that jazz, but still those notions of mine remain so a nice high wall is essential. True to my husky nature, my recall isn’t fantastic as I like to decide when playtime outside is over! I’m something of a free spirit they say!!!! I’m getting better with that once I know there are treats waiting for me if I’m a very good boy.

Just in case you are wondering, I am a popular lad with other dogs around my size so if you have another dog who needs a new brother, I could be the lad for you. I would really like to go to a home where there is someone there who understands my breed and has experience with us. Apparently it’s not easy for us huskies to find homes in Ireland so I know the folks here are worried I’ll be stuck here for months and months on end just waiting.  So please if you like the look of me, just give me a chance and come and meet me. If you don’t have room for a big bundle of husky love in your life right now then maybe you could tag someone who does???
